The similar one I posted a link to earlier is an Intel cpu. They're not terrible, but do consume a lot of power and throw off a lot of heat compared to ryzen. I wouldn't pay $950 for a pc with a 1st gen ryzen. You will get a much better gaming experience from a 6-core 3rd gen than an 8-core 1st gen.

Yeah I have to concur with Rapi. The $1k machines are all close enough that its preference, but Zargut found the best out of the box machine for $800 or less.
